The Craftsman Behind the Work

Inspired by Generations. Driven by Passion.

My passion for woodworking began long before I stepped into my own shop. Growing up, I would often admire beautiful wooden furniture in relatives' homes, only to hear the familiar words, "Your Great Grandpa Khoitz made that!" Inspired by his craftsmanship and traditional woodworking methods, I began pursuing woodworking more seriously in 2017. What started as curiosity grew into a passion for creating something meaningful with my own hands. Today, my workshop is where I escape the bustle of everyday life, embrace new challenges, and find peace in the creative process.

My Approach to Craftsmanship

Where Engineering Meets Creativity.

As a professional engineer, I bring an analytical mindset, precision, and a love of problem-solving to every project. I'm meticulous by nature and enjoy the entire creative process, from developing an initial concept to refining the smallest finishing details. I'm constantly exploring new techniques, challenging my abilities, and finding ways to balance artistic expression with structural integrity and lasting quality. For me, woodworking is as much about the journey of creating something as it is about the finished piece.

What Inspires My Work

Inspired by Nature. Crafted to Last.

Much of my inspiration comes from the natural beauty of the Colorado Rockies, a place I've admired since childhood visits to family in Buena Vista. I enjoy experimenting with different hardwood species, using their natural colors, grain patterns, and textures to create distinctive pieces without relying solely on stains or dyes. From mountain-inspired wall art and unique artistic creations to personalized commissions, my goal is to craft pieces that capture individuality, celebrate the beauty of wood, and inspire an appreciation for quality craftsmanship that lasts.
